It’s incredibly rewarding when someone asks me how old I am, and they are surprised by my response, my work, and my demeanor. It’s a reminder that I’ve done something with my life that is beyond just satisfying standards and meeting the status quo.
I normally do not revel in my accomplishments, but I think sometimes I’ve earned it.

California dreaming
Looking for apartments is too draining. What if I hate where I end up? Is there anything to do there? Are my neighbors going to be too cheery? Do I even have time to find an apartment? Can’t I hire someone to do this for me?
